I am creating HobbsMate because I am a pilot and I am tired of the outdated, expensive, and limited options available to us general aviation aircraft owners. I am creating HobbsMate to be solve my own needs and sharing it with the world. Eventually I would love to see HobbsMate grow to support itself and my aviation adventures.
I have always dreamed of building software that can be useful to others and I am excited to see where HobbsMate goes. I am finding it fascinating how the data can tell a story about your flying and your aircraft and building all these small creature comforts is a great way to do that. - HobbsMate is solely owned by Lance Gundersen. I am not a corporation and I am not looking to sell the company. I am looking to build a sustainable and useful software that can support my aviation adventures and provide a valuable service to the aviation community.
